Connecting to Plantmargin

Switches connect to a digital input; transmitters and indicators to an analogue input or Modbus. Plantmargin reads level or weight every 10 seconds through the edge gateway, stores it for years as hourly figures, draws it against its normal band, and uses it in cost per unit, alarms and verified savings. The installer pack for your plant lists the exact register or channel to use.

Installation

• Ultrasonic and radar sensors need a clear view of the surface, away from inlets and agitators.
• Belt scales and load cells are calibrated on site with test weights or a material run; we include the calibration report.

• Send the tank or silo drawing, the product, and the maximum level or weight.

Warranty and support

• Manufacturer's warranty, usually 12–24 months from delivery; the exact period is stated on your quotation.
• Supplied with the datasheet and manual; calibration or test certificate where the product has one.
