Vortex steam flow meter DN32, temperature-pressure compensated. It measures steam, air or gas with no moving parts. Built-in temperature and pressure compensation gives mass flow (kg/h) of steam directly.

Connecting to Plantmargin

Wire the 4–20 mA output to a gateway analogue input, the pulse output to a pulse input, or the Modbus output to the RS485 line. Plantmargin reads flow rate and total every 10 seconds through the edge gateway, stores it for years as hourly figures, draws it against its normal band, and uses it in cost per unit, alarms and verified savings. The installer pack for your plant lists the exact register or channel to use.

Installation

• Allow at least 15–20 diameters upstream and 5 downstream (more after bends and valves).
• The pipe must run full at the meter (for liquids): install on a rising line or a low point where possible.
• Isolation valves and a bypass let the meter be removed without stopping the line.

Before you order

• Send us the fluid, normal and maximum flow, pressure, temperature and pipe size. Flow meters are often best one size smaller than the pipe; we size it for you.
• Lead time can vary for large sizes; it is confirmed on the quotation.

Warranty and support

• Manufacturer's warranty, usually 12–24 months from delivery; the exact period is stated on your quotation.
• Supplied with the datasheet and manual; calibration or test certificate where the product has one.
