Connecting to Plantmargin

The battery management system and power conversion connect over Modbus TCP; Plantmargin shows every kWh in and out, the round-trip efficiency and the cycles used. Plantmargin reads battery power, state of charge and cycles every 10 seconds through the edge gateway, stores it for years as hourly figures, draws it against its normal band, and uses it in cost per unit, alarms and verified savings. The installer pack for your plant lists the exact register or channel to use.

Sizing

• Plantmargin sizes the battery from the plant's own metered load and outage history, and only recommends it where it pays.

Installation

• In a ventilated, fire-separated room or container, with the manufacturer's clearances and suppression, by licensed technicians.

Warranty and support

• Manufacturer's warranty, usually 12–24 months from delivery; the exact period is stated on your quotation.
• Supplied with the datasheet and manual; calibration or test certificate where the product has one.
